However, holiday parties and extravagant meals often leave people feeling dread and stressing over how much to eat and what is being offered. I'm not here to tell you the same old tips that make the rounds each year (choose a smaller plate, eat before the party, eating salad first, move away from food). Instead, I want to share practical tips that will help you enjoy the holiday season - without going without. But first, let me remind you... it's a time to celebrate food and togetherness, not the time to get down on ourselves for not following a 'perfect diet'. After all, there is NO such thing as a perfect diet. Let's ditch the deprivation and celebrate food this holiday season. |
