What can Homeopathic Medicine treat?
... and more |
How long are the initial appointments and what are the costs?
The initial consultation is designed to be a comprehensive discussion and treatment of your health concerns that combines the benefits of Naturopathic and Homeopathic medicine. This initial consultation will be booked into a series of 3 appointments:
- Our traditional initial Naturopath consultation with a thorough health history, relevant physical exams and the development of short and long-term goals. (60 minutes)
- A Homeopathic consultation, where Dr. Pannu will guide you as you discuss your symptoms in great detail. Using a single-remedy approach, this comprehensive consultation style is key to finding the right medicine for you. It is tailored to address your unique experience while addressing all of your main health concerns. You will receive your Comprehensive Treatment Plan that may include specific nutrient prescriptions and lifestyle changes to support healing. (90 minutes)
- A short follow up visit, scheduled once your lab results are available, for lab review and your homeopathic prescription. (20 minutes)
Finally, Dr. Pannu offers a complimentary 5 minute phone check-in, scheduled after your 20 minute follow up, to answer any questions or concerns that may arise once beginning treatment. With your treatment plan, you will be prescribed a homeopathic medicine specific to your case that typically costs less than $20 per month. The cost of these appointments is $425.00 and they are booked in a series of 3 appointments.

How long will the treatment take to work?
It can vary depending on the type of illness, severity, and how long you have been experiencing your symptoms. Often patients notice an improvement quickly as they begin to heal, while others feel an improvement in mood before their physical symptoms. In chronic disease, homeopathic medicine helps us ‘peel away layers’ as you go from healing surface-level symptoms to healing the underlying illness. Our follow-ups are designed to ensure consistent improvement; if we stray from this, then we will alter treatment accordingly to ensure you feel better.
Dr. Neelam Pannu is registered with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta and offers free 15 minute consultations.
