Do You Struggle to Keep Your Anger in Check and Frequently Lash Out Against Family and Friends? We Can Help You Control Your Rage and Avoid Destructive OutburstsEveryone gets angry. It’s a normal human emotion brought on by the feeling we’ve been slighted or wronged. Rage on the other hand is a destructive force which is an unconscious process. Whereas anger serves many important purposes such as keeping us from being exploited or manipulated, rage only makes a situation worse. If you struggle to keep your anger in check and frequently lash out against those who are closest to you, then there’s most likely an underlying trauma from your past causing your rage which needs to be addressed. Our Registered Psychologists can work with you to identify and treat the trauma associated with your outbursts, and help you put in place coping mechanisms which will allow you to control your anger and its negative effects on you.

Why should I see a psychologist?
Our minds and bodies have a strong connection to each other, which can sometimes be overlooked when individuals are working towards their best overall health. Counselling offers you a safe and confidential place to to anyone who wants to explore the way they are thinking, feeling and behaving – or to resolve a problem they are experiencing. It can also be beneficial to those who are doing well overall, but would like to increase well-being, create meaning in their life, and flourish to their fullest potential. The experience of exploring yourself and your situation with a non-judgemental individual can relieve the sense that you are entirely alone with your problems, help you feel more in control, and can bring about a great deal of positive change.
Counselling is often aimed at empowering self-growth, reducing emotional suffering, and helping you to become the best version of yourself. With counselling, you may gain confidence and direction to achieve your goals, and begin to feel better about yourself and who are you truly are. Our role is to listen and to try and understand who you are, and where you are at. With this understanding, we can work with you to develop ideas, goals, and solutions to help you thrive and/or cope with whatever you are struggling with in a healthy way.
